Step cooking
Beetroot preparation
- We rub 2 raw beets, approximately 550 g, on a special grater (for Korean carrots). It turns out very thin, smooth, long stripes. To grate such strips, you need to turn the beets in your hands all the time, so you evenly cut from all sides. Pay attention to what beets you are making salad from. Choose a bright red table beet so that it is sweet, then the salad will be delicious.
- On a fine grater, rub 5 cloves of garlic.
- Add 30 ml of lemon juice or lime juice. If there is no juice, you can replace it with vinegar.
- Pour 1.5 tbsp. l cane brown sugar. You can use white sugar, but brown is better, because it has a caramel flavor. Pour 2 tbsp. l soy sauce instead of salt. Mix, taste. If necessary, add more soy sauce.
Onion cooking
- We put the pan to heat on fire. Pour 60 ml of odorless vegetable oil. There we add 2 tbsp. l sesame oil for flavor.
- Cut 1 medium-sized onion into small cubes.
- Sliced onions sent to the pan. Fry until golden brown.
- Grind in a mortar 1 tbsp. l coriander. It is crushed seeds that will give their pleasant aroma and taste.
- When the onion began to golden, add the seeds of coriander, they will warm up and give their flavor.
- Add 0.5 tsp. chili pepper flakes and ground black pepper to your liking. Mix and fry for another 30 seconds.
Cooking salad
- The beets stood, settled and let the juice go. We send hot oil to it along with onions and spices. All mix well.
- We leave the salad to marinate for at least 2 hours, or better all night in the refrigerator, then it will be very tasty. Be sure to taste the salad. You can add salt or add more soy sauce. For decoration in a dry pan, fry 1 tbsp. l sesame seeds and sprinkle them with salad.
