Step cooking
We form meatballs
- Put about 400 g of any minced meat in a bowl for kneading dough. Onions of medium size finely chopped with a sharp knife, and then send it to the minced meat. We measure out 100 g of rice, then rinse it thoroughly with running water and add to the rest of the ingredients. Some cooks prefer to pre-boil rice until half cooked. Break one chicken egg there and add 10 g of thyme.
- Salt and pepper the mass according to your taste. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to achieve a uniform consistency. The resulting minced meat is beaten several times on the table so that the meatballs are juicy.
- We form meatballs the size of a little more than a walnut.
- Separately, pour about 80-100 g of flour, in which we carefully roll each meat preparation.
- Sprinkle generously with a cutting board or table surface with flour, on top of which we put stuck meatballs.
- In a large diameter pan, pour 20-30 ml of vegetable oil. On top of the hot oil we spread the workpieces boned in flour, and then fry them on all sides until a golden crust appears. Preliminary roasting will avoid the fact that meatballs may fall apart during the cooking of the soup.
- In a saucepan in which soup will be cooked, pour 400 ml of bottled water and send it to the stove. After the liquid boils, put the fried meatballs into it.
- There we add 50 g of raw rice, always washed in advance in cold water. We cover the pan with a lid and leave the soup to boil over medium heat.
Do the frying
- Meanwhile, finely chop the onion with a sharp knife. Grind one medium-sized carrot with a coarse grater. Peppers are peeled from seeds and stalk, and then cut into thin rectangular pieces. Potatoes in the amount of 3-4 tubers are cut into small cubes.
- Pour 20-30 ml of vegetable oil into a clean pan, and when it warms up to a hot state, put chopped onion, carrots and bell pepper on top of it.
- Fry vegetables over medium heat with occasional stirring for about 2-3 minutes.
- 4 canned tomatoes are peeled and then cut into small cubes. We send the chopped tomatoes to the grilling vegetables.
- Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic, then put it in the cooking roast.
- Fry the ingredients for one minute, and then add 20 g of tomato paste.
- We continue to cook the frying for a couple of minutes.
Make soup
- In a boiling broth with meatballs we send the cooked roast.
- After boiling again, add chopped potatoes to the soup. Salt and pepper the broth according to personal taste preferences. Cook the soup over medium heat until the potatoes are ready. Tentatively it will take 20-30 minutes.
- During this time, finely chop a small bunch of parsley. Add chopped parsley to the finished soup and turn off the heat.
- Let the first dish brew for 7-10 minutes, then pour it on plates and serve.
