Step cooking
- Peel 2 cloves of garlic from the husks and chop very finely.
- Lubricate the pan with a small amount of sunflower oil and lightly fry the chopped garlic over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Make sure garlic is not burnt. The smell and taste of burnt garlic can easily spoil the whole dish.
- Peel 1 small onion and cut into small cubes. Then we send to the pan and mix.
- Peel 1 medium-sized carrot from the skin and rub on a coarse grater. After that, we also lay out on the pan to the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and fry until golden brown.
- On a coarse grater, rub 400 g of cream cheese. Choose only quality, proven brands. If the cheese is of high quality, it will easily dissolve in water. Poor quality cheese will be collected in pieces. Also pay attention to the labels on the label. It should indicate “processed cheese” and not “cheese product”. The cheese product contains herbal ingredients, and it will not be suitable for soup, as it will not dissolve to the desired consistency.
- Pour into the pan about 2.5 liters of pure water and heat well. We dissolve melted cheese in hot water.
- Peel 200 g of potatoes from the skin. These are approximately 4-5 small potatoes. Cut into small pieces and send into boiling water with cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Finely chop the dill and parsley, after cutting and removing the thick stems.
- Then we clear the shrimp from the heads, tails and entrails. In total, we need 200 g of peeled shrimp. If desired, you can buy already peeled shrimp.
- When the potatoes are boiled, put the frying in the pan and mix everything thoroughly.
- If desired, add a little more black ground pepper or a mixture of peppers.
- Sprinkle with finely chopped herbs. We leave some of the greens for serving. Mix and bring to a boil.
- When the potatoes become soft, put the shrimp in the soup. Cook under a closed lid for 3-5 minutes.
- We lay out the finished dish in portioned plates, and before serving, sprinkle with the remaining finely chopped greens.
