Step cooking
- We take 1 loaf (this is about 600 g) of white bread (it’s easier to take already sliced bread in the store, however you can cut it into thin slices and yourself using a sharp knife). Each piece of bread is cut into thin strips (about 1 cm wide) along, and then the same shelves are cut across (so that you get squares about 1 by 1 cm in size).
- Put crushed bread on a baking sheet as evenly as possible.
- We prepare a saline solution for “filling” crackers. To do this, add 1 tsp to a glass with 100 ml of clean boiled water at room temperature. with a slide of shallow salt. And thoroughly mix the resulting mixture until the salt is completely dissolved.
- We place the saline solution in a clean atomizer (atomizer) and thoroughly (and most importantly, evenly) sprinkle the bread laid on the baking sheet with its help (for this you must use at least half of the solution).
- On the oven we set the temperature to 150 degrees, turn on the heating from above and below, as well as the “fan” mode. We put the baking tray with bread in the oven and dry the crackers at this temperature and conditions for 60 minutes.
- After a specified period of time, turn off the oven and leave the crackers "to reach" in it (with the door closed) for 30 - 40 minutes. Then we take out the baking sheet from the oven, transfer the crackers to the serving container and start trying. Out of 600 g of white bread you will end up with about 400 g of the finished product. Decoration and serving
The taste of such crackers can be varied by adding certain spices to them before placing in the oven, for example: Italian herbs, paprika, suni hops, ground dried garlic, etc. To make crackers look more original, you can experiment with their shape, for example, cut the bread into triangles, circles, straws (the main thing is that the slices are small and the bread can dry sufficiently). Serve such crackers with sauce: tomato, sour cream, mustard, etc.
