Step cooking
- If you have a whole carcass of salmon, then it needs to be cleaned of scales and viscera, washed well, cleaning the black film inside. If this is not done, the fish may be bitter. Cut two steaks, weighing 150 - 200 g. If you purchased ready-made steaks, then it is enough to rinse and dry them.
- Wash the lemon, dry, and cut one half into thin slices.
- It is best to bake salmon in foil, parchment or baking sleeve. So the dish will not be overdried, and all the juices and aromas will remain. Prepare a piece of foil, lay it with the shiny side up. Put salmon steak on the foil, salt well, as sea fish love a lot of salt, but do not overdo it.
- Put the lemon circles on top of the steak so that they cover the entire surface.
- Wrap the fish in foil, leaving a small opening on top to let off steam.
- With the second steak, do everything exactly the same. Preheat the oven to 200 ° and send the salmon to bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
- As a side dish, you can cook a salad. Take the remaining half of the lemon and squeeze the juice out of it into a deep salad bowl. Add olive oil and a little salt to the lemon juice. Mix well until the salt dissolves, and the sauce itself should turn into a white emulsion.
- Rinse the cherry tomatoes, dry with a paper towel and cut into halves.
- With radish, cut the spine and foliage, wash and cut into thin circles.
- Wash the salad and leave the salad on a towel so that all the water leaves, in the salad it will be superfluous. After sending the Corn salad to the vegetables, mix everything so that the dressing is evenly distributed.
- After the salmon is ready, take it out of the oven, carefully unfold the foil only after 5 - 7 minutes, so that the fish is slightly saturated with aromas and absorb its own juice, and then let it cool slightly. Serve the fish portionwise while it is still warm; put a small amount of salad next to it on a plate. As a side dish, you can cook any salad using fresh vegetables, cook boiled or baked potatoes, or assorted grilled vegetables.
Did you know? If you do not like lemon, then you can use other types of marinades for baking salmon. For example, white wine, soy sauce, pomegranate sauce or cream. Add aromatic herbs and refrain from adding pepper and other spices in large quantities. It can only do harm.
