Pink salmon steak. Step cooking
- Let's start with fish. We will cook pink salmon from a whole carcass. You can take the whole carcass or ready-made portioned portions. Any red fish is also suitable for this recipe. We clean the pink salmon from the scales, cut the belly, remove all the insides, cut off the head. We wash the carcass, cut into portioned pieces no more than 2 cm thick.
- How to make pickled fish? Sprinkle the fish with salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with lemon juice from half a lemon, cover with a lid and leave to marinate for half an hour. If desired, you can add other spices at your discretion. Many additionally use dill and seasoning for fish.
- While the fish is pickling, prepare the rest of the ingredients. We wash six pieces of small tomatoes, cut them into circles. If you have very large tomatoes, then take a smaller amount and cut into half rings. We clean the three medium onions, rinse them and cut into thin half rings. Wash the remaining half of the lemon, cut into slices.
- We rub 200-250 g of hard cheese on a coarse grater. You can use any cheese. The main thing is that you like it to taste, be fresh and melt well.
- How much to cook a dish? When the fish is pickled, turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. We cover the baking sheet with foil, lay out slices of pink salmon in one layer. For each fish piece put one slice of lemon. Then sprinkle the fish with a large amount of onion, put in a circle of tomato and sprinkle with cheese. We send the pan to the preheated oven, bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
- We take out a baking sheet, let the fish cool slightly. We spread fish steaks with vegetables and cheese on portioned plates. Baked pink salmon can be a light, independent dish, but for a full dinner, additionally serve a salad of fresh vegetables seasoned with vegetable oil, mashed potatoes or your favorite boiled porridge. The decoration will be chopped greens, parsley leaves. The fish turns out to be very tasty, often this amount is enough to feed a family of four. If you have prepared fish for the future, you can store it in a closed container in the refrigerator. It can also be eaten cold, but in hot form the cheese creates an appetizing “tenacity”.
