Step cooking
- You can buy ready-made boiled condensed milk. But you can also cook it yourself. To do this, put a can of condensed milk in a pan and fill it with water so that it covers the can by 2 cm. Boil for two hours. After the condensed milk is boiled, the jar must be cooled by adding cold water. Do not open hot! Remove the dough from its packaging and leave it at room temperature for several minutes. Then turn it around and wait about an hour and a half for it to fully defrost.
- Cut the dough in half. Dust the work surface lightly with flour and transfer half of the dough there. Dust it with flour too. Roll the dough lightly. Doing this is better in one direction.
- The resulting rectangle is cut into 8 parts. In order for the dough to cut better, a figured or regular knife must be dipped in flour.
- Each resulting piece is visually divided into two halves. We spread a teaspoon of condensed milk on one.
- In the second half of the dough we make three small cuts. They are necessary so that the puffs do not tear when baking. Cover the condensed milk with the free half of the dough and carefully pinch the edges. On the edge of the puff, you can lightly walk with a fork to better squeeze the dough. It will also decorate the finished product a little.
- Lightly grease the pan with vegetable oil. Put puffs on it.
- Beat the egg yolk and grease the resulting mass with puffs so that they turn golden brown. Leave the puffs for 30 minutes to fit well.
- After 15 minutes from the beginning of the proofing, turn on the oven. It should warm up to 200 degrees. When the puffs come up, lower the temperature in the oven to 180 degrees and send our puffs there. It is not recommended to open the oven door for the first 10 minutes. Bake puffs until golden brown. It takes 15 to 20 minutes. Let the puffs cool on a baking sheet, then you can serve. Before that, you can decorate them with powdered sugar.
