Step cooking
Ingredient preparation
- Put three chicken eggs in a small pan and fill them with cold water. We send the eggs to the stove and cook them until cooked. Drain the hot water and fill the eggs with cold water for 10-15 minutes, so that it is easy to remove the shell.
- We clear the boiled component from the shell and grind it on a fine grater.
- Open a jar of sardine in oil or any other fish, and then remove from it slices of the product and put them on a plate.
- We remove the bones and other unappetizing parts, after which we knead the fish meat with a fork to a mushy state.
- Separately, grate 170-200 g of hard cheese on a fine grater.
Pie assembly
- We take the first puff cake and generously lubricate it with mayonnaise, evenly distributing it over the entire surface.
- On top of the mayonnaise, lay out the chopped fish meat and gently distribute it throughout the cake.
- One side of the second puff cake is also generously greased with mayonnaise.
- Lower the cake onto the fish with the oiled side down and gently press it.
- Cover with mayonnaise the dry surface of the second cake.
- Spread the crushed hard cheese evenly on top.
- Take the third cake and similarly cover one side with mayonnaise.
- Lower the cake onto the cheese chips with the oiled side down.
- Press the workpiece lightly and cover the second side with the remains of mayonnaise.
- Evenly distribute the chopped chicken eggs over the entire surface of the last cake. We send the puff cake to the refrigerator and keep it there for 6-10 hours, depending on the thickness of the cakes. It is important that the product is thoroughly soaked with mayonnaise, then the cake will turn out to be soft and soft to the taste.
Additional decoration
In order for the cooked pie to acquire more charm, and also began to look more appetizing and attractive, it can be decorated in various ways. As an additional decoration of puff cake of fish, most often use:
- parsley and dill;
