Step cooking
- We take fresh bell pepper, wash it under running water, peel it from seeds, cut it into thin strips, and then grind it into small cubes.
- To prepare the minced meat, we take pork and beef meat in equal proportions, cut into small pieces, and then pass through a meat grinder.
- We take 1 pc. onion, peel it, cut into small cubes on a clean cutting board.
- Put onion, chopped bell pepper and 600 g of minced meat in a deep bowl, combine together, mix. Add 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp allspice, mix thoroughly.
- Put 1 tbsp into the minced meat. l sour cream, chopped in small pieces 1 clove of garlic, add 1 tsp. tomato paste.
- All the minced meat is mixed well until smooth.
- We take a detachable baking dish, grease it with 1 tsp. butter.
- Sprinkle the cutting board with flour, lay 300 g of puff yeast-free dough on it, roll it out with a rolling pin, but not very thinly, to the size of the baking dish, taking into account the sides.
If you roll the dough thinly, then when baking it becomes dry and crispy, and we need it to be flaky. The dough can be bought at the store, you can also cook it yourself, the recipe for cooking can be found on our website. - In a greased form, we lay out a rolled sheet of yeast-free dough, we press our hands to the sides so that there is no free space for air.
- Add the prepared minced meat and vegetables to the dough from above, and evenly distribute it over the entire surface with a silicone spatula.
- We spread 300 g of puff pastry on a preliminarily floured cutting board, roll it out with a rolling pin, carefully cover the minced meat, and make dips on the dough on the edges of the baking dish. If desired, the hanging ends of the dough can be cut with kitchen scissors.
- In the center of the pie we make a cross-shaped incision. This is necessary so that during baking, excess steam comes out of the pie, and the dough is well baked and not moist.
- Break 1 egg, separate the yolk from the protein. We need only the yolk, add a little salt to it, mix until light foam.
- With a silicone brush, grease the top of the cake with a beaten egg. From the egg, the finished cake will be a beautiful golden color.
- Turn on the oven, heat up to 180 degrees. In a hot oven, put the cake pan, bake for about 45 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
- After this time, we take out the cake from the oven, it should cool down a little in the form for about 10 minutes, after which we transfer it to the plate.
