Step cooking
- Take the mushrooms and wash them thoroughly. If necessary, clean them. You can take any mushrooms. Of course, fleshy mushrooms, such as ceps or champignons, are best suited. But forest ones will also look good in sauce. Just take the mushrooms you are sure of. Let the mushrooms drain a little by folding them in a colander. Cut the mushrooms in any way - you want thin plates, you want quarters, you can even cubes. This does not play a role.
- Now peel the vegetables — one medium-sized onion and five cloves of garlic. Wash them thoroughly under running water. On a cutting board, press the garlic clove with a knife and cut into thin slices. Cut the onion in half and cut into thin half rings.
- In a medium heat, put the pan and melt 70 g of butter in it.
- In butter, fry chopped garlic for just a few seconds, stir constantly with a wooden or silicone spatula.
- Once the garlic is gold, put in a pan and chopped onion. Fry the onion over medium heat until half cooked (this is when it becomes soft, but not yet fried).
- Put the mushrooms in the pan and, stirring constantly, fry until tender. This process will take about 15 minutes. Salt and pepper the prepared dish to taste.
- Now it's time to add the cream. Cream should be fresh and fatty 33%. Mix well so that the cream dissolves and mixes with other ingredients.
- Make the fire minimal and cover the pan. Stew the sauce over such a low heat for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. The sauce is ready!
Food Options
When the sauce is ready, there are two possible options:
- Leave as it is, then in the sauce there will be large pieces of mushrooms and onions.
- To kill the whole mass in a blender, then the sauce will come out almost uniform.
It’s up to you to decide who you like best.
In any case, boil spaghetti (proportion: 100 g pasta: 1 liter of water: 1 tsp. Salt) and drain the water from them. There is no need to rinse with water. Remember that real spaghetti should not be overcooked, but rather undercooked. Arrange the prepared pasta in serving plates and pour creamy mushroom sauce on top. Garnish with a sprig of parsley or other herbs. You can sprinkle with grated cheese.
By the way, grated cheese can be added directly to the sauce itself. If you want to do this, pour it after the cream has boiled well. And mix thoroughly so that the cheese does not burn until melted. That's all! Enjoy your meal!
