Step cooking
Knead the dough
- Take one bar of black and milk chocolate and break them into small pieces. Put the pieces of the sweet ingredient in a saucepan or any other container with a thick bottom.
- Pour there 30-50 ml of milk and send the components to a low heat. With active and constant stirring, melt the chocolate to a liquid state.
- Pour the chocolate mass into a deep bowl, and then add half a can of condensed milk to it. Mix the ingredients with an ordinary tablespoon until a homogeneous viscous consistency is obtained.
- 300 g shortbread cookies are put in a plastic bag. Evenly level it throughout the package, and then grind it with a rolling pin so that large pieces remain.
- We send large crumbs in a bowl to a mixture of condensed milk and chocolate. Thoroughly mix the ingredients, trying to knead a homogeneous dough.
We are preparing the product
- Baking paper is well lubricated with 30-50 g of pre-softened butter. We spread the dough on greased paper and with wet hands we form a sausage from it. From this amount of dough, two sausages are obtained.
- We tightly wrap the blank in paper, and then twist the edges, forming a kind of big candy. We send sausage to refrigerators for at least three hours.
- After this time, take out the treat from the refrigerator and, without unwrapping the paper, cut the treat into portioned pieces. We serve a product with tea, coffee, or enjoy its taste without anything.
Useful information
- Sweet chocolate sausage with cookies can be stored in the freezer for a rather long time, removing dessert at any time and enjoying it with tea, coffee or cocoa with milk.
- If desired, the sausage can be freed from the paper and roll well in icing sugar before serving the sweet dessert directly, and then cut into small slices.
- During the dough kneading, some chefs add chopped marshmallows or various candied fruits. In the case of candied fruit, the treat will turn out to be colorful and very mouth-watering, which will undoubtedly appeal to the little sweet tooth.
