Step cooking
- Put 60-70 g of raisins in a deep bowl, pour it with a cup of boiling water (about 200-230 ml).
- Peel 500-550 g apples (3-4 medium fruits) from the peel and middle.
- Pour 600 ml of cold water into a deep bowl and squeeze the juice of half a lemon.
- Cut the apples into small slices and dip in water with lemon juice.
- Put 50 g butter in a preheated pan and melt it.
- Catch apples from the water with lemon juice using a slotted spoon, put them in a pan and add 80 g of sugar.
- Stew the apple filling over medium heat, stirring until excess moisture evaporates (20-25 minutes).
- Then add 4-5 g of vanilla sugar and raisins, after draining water from it, mix the filling.
- Put 500 g of puff pastry on the table and roll it out with a rolling pin.
- In a separate bowl, mix 40-50 g of sugar, 2.5-3 g of cinnamon and 70-80 g of ground almonds.
- Melt 60 g of butter, grease the rolled dough with it, leaving 1 cm of greased space at the edges.
- Sprinkle cooked sprinkles of sugar, cinnamon and ground nut on top of the butter.
- Lay out the filling along the short edge of the dough, forming a neat, long slide from it.
- Twist the strudel, gently pinching the edges on the sides - so the filling will not fall out. Make sure that at the end of twisting the seam from the dough is at the bottom.
- Put the product on a baking sheet, having previously covered it with baking paper. Lubricate the dough with the remnants of melted butter.
- Pour the dough with a fork so that steam escapes from the filling during baking and the baking does not leak.
- Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180ºС for 35-40 minutes. Then let the strudel cool slightly, cut into portioned slices and serve. Enjoy your meal!
