Step cooking
- We prepare the ingredients. We cut the vegetables into straws, take about half of one piece of each vegetable, depending on how many pieces of shawarma you will cook. Fry the meat or bake to taste, also finely chop. You can take any meat - chicken, beef, duck or turkey to taste.
- Cooking the sauce. We mix 3-4 tablespoons of sour cream, half soft cream cheese (about 1 tablespoon), 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, mustard, olive oil, Provencal herbs, finely chopped greens and garlic crushed through a press in one bowl. Mix all the ingredients well until smooth and send to the refrigerator for 10-20 minutes, allow the sauce to cool.
- Cut the pita in half. In pita there is a “pocket” in which we will put all the ingredients.
- First, add the sauce and with a spoon or a brush, grease the pita well with the sauce inside.
- Then add some meat, vegetables and some more meat on top.
- Add the sauce on top.
- Then more vegetables and meat, and on top sauce with onions.
- Put the ingredients in the order you like. Done! Enjoy your meal!
