Ingredients
- Korean carrots - 200 g
- Hard cheese - 150 g
- Smoked Chicken - 500 g
- Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
- Mayonnaise - for salad dressing
- Salt to taste
Step cooking
- Finely chop cubes of 500 g smoked chicken (you can use a breast or ham for salad). Dice the medium sized 2 red tomatoes.
- On a coarse grater, grate 150 g of hard cheese.
- Mix in the salad bowl all the chopped ingredients: meat, tomatoes and cheese, add 200 g of Korean carrots.
- Season the salad with mayonnaise, add as much mayonnaise as you like, mix the salad. Salt the salad to taste.
How to make Korean carrots at home
- Peel and wash 2 kg of carrots (choose a long carrot). Chop the carrots with a shredder or chop it with a knife. Try to prepare the carrots so that the strips are long.
- Pour into a bowl of carrots 2 tbsp. l salt, grind the carrots with your hands and wait until it starts to juice (about 10-15 minutes).
- While the carrots are infused, peel 1 onion and chop in any way convenient for you.
- Heat 60 ml of vegetable oil in a pan and pour the chopped onion into it, lightly fry it until soft.
- Move the onions to free half the pan, and pour red ground pepper there (to your taste - the sharper and more pepper, the sharper the carrots will be). Allow the pepper and onion to fry a little dumb (30-40 seconds) and turn off the heat.
- Peel 1 head of garlic.
- When the carrots are infused, drain the resulting juice, add 2 tbsp. l sugar and ground cilantro to taste. Add garlic to the carrots by passing it through the garlic press, or chop finely with a knife. Pour the hot mixture of oil, onion and red pepper into a bowl of carrots.
- Pour 2 teaspoons into a carrot. vinegar, and then coarsely chop a bunch of fresh cilantro and add to the carrots, mix everything thoroughly.
