Step cooking
- When the water boils, a moderate amount of salt is added to it. Treated squids are immersed in boiling water one at a time. Small carcasses are boiled for about 10 seconds from the moment of boiling water, for large ones this period is 15 seconds.
- While the squid is cooling, half of the head of Beijing cabbage is diced. To do this, a head of cabbage is cut lengthwise into four parts, and then cut across. The processed ingredient is poured into a large bowl.
- Both eggs boiled and peeled are chopped into a small cube and poured into a bowl of Chinese cabbage.
- When the squids have cooled, they need to be cut into strips. If the carcasses are small, they can simply be cut into rings, larger ones will have to be chopped harder. Sliced squids are sent to a bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
- From canned corn, you need to drain all the liquid, after which the ingredient is poured into a large bowl of squid.
- Mayonnaise is added to the bowl. It serves as a gas station and its quantity is chosen at personal discretion.
- Without stirring, a small funnel is made in mayonnaise, after which 1/4 teaspoon of dried garlic is poured into it. Mix the mixture a little, without stirring with the rest of the ingredients. Alternatively, you can use fresh garlic in an amount of no more than 1/2 clove.
- The ingredients are thoroughly mixed so that the mayonnaise is distributed between all the components of the dish. On this, the process of preparing a salad with squid and Beijing cabbage comes to an end, bon appetit.
