Step cooking
- First of all, 400 grams of squid needs to be cleaned. Most of the squid is its body with fins. There is a head with eyes and tentacles. First you need to extract the insides. Holding the squid's body with your hand, we confidently pull the other by the head. Inside, there is still a chitin plate, which must be removed, because it is sharp. Then cut off the tentacles, placing the knife in front of the squid's eyes. We use tentacles for food. Near the eyes there is a sharp beak of squid, which sometimes can not be noticed and cut off with the tentacles. It must be removed with the eyes. We clean and remove the squid skin under running water. Grab it with your fingers and just peel it off. Under water, it is removed easily.
- Then we wash the squid inside, checking to see if there are any entrails left. There is a second faster way to remove squid skins. Peeled squids without entrails and tentacles are placed in a large pot of boiling water. Stir them and observe how the squid skin begins to curl up. In some squids, it almost goes off on its own. Keep the squid in hot water for 30 seconds. Then we take them out and immediately put them in cold water to stop the cooking process. The remaining skin is removed very easily. Again, after that we thoroughly rinse the squid body inside and out. Then boil the squid. We put them in boiling water and cook for 2 minutes - no more, otherwise the squids will become "rubber". We get them with the help of tongs and cool.
- Finely chop the 250 g of white cabbage and transfer it to a deep bowl.
- Boil three eggs. To do this, dip them in a pan with cold water. To prevent the eggs from cracking, add a little salt or vinegar. After boiling, reduce the heat on the stove to a minimum and cook for 10 minutes. After this time, it is necessary to drain the hot water and fill them with cold water for complete cooling. Then peel the shell, chop the eggs into cubes and add them to the cabbage.
- Here we put 150 g canned corn. Mix with a tablespoon.
- Cut the squid. Check if we cleaned them well inside. If something remains, clean and rinse under running water. Cut the squid into strips. Salt them a little and put in a salad.
- Add 80 g of mayonnaise, black pepper to taste, a little salt and mix.
- We put the squid salad in the refrigerator. I wash and dry a few feathers of onions. Thinly cut.
- Before serving, add a little green onion and 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice for sharpness. Shuffle. Salad ready.
