Step cooking
- Take 1 large onion, peel it, wash it and cut into half rings. Chopped onions are placed in a small deep bowl.
- Take 1 cup of boiled water at room temperature and add 1 tbsp. l 9% vinegar.
- Mix the contents of the glass thoroughly and add to the bowl with the onion (the water should completely cover the onion).
- We take 1 kg of fresh squid and thoroughly clean them. We put a pot of water on the fire, add salt to the water. After the water boils, put the squids in the pan and cook them for no more than 5 minutes (otherwise they will become very hard).
- We cut the cooked and cooled squids into thin rings (about 3-5 mm thick) or straws.
- Sliced squids are placed in a deep container.
- We take 4 chicken eggs, boil them hard-boiled (eggs can be boiled in parallel with squid), peel and cut into strips. Eggs are also added to the squid bowl.
- From the container with the onion, drain the brine, and also add the onion to the salad.
- Fill salad with mayonnaise (to taste) and mix thoroughly with a spoon so that the mayonnaise is evenly distributed between the ingredients.
- Put the salad on the dish and enjoy the result. Enjoy your meal!
Decoration and serving
You can decorate such a salad by laying it on lettuce leaves, sprinkling it with chopped herbs, freshly ground black pepper, sesame seeds, grated yolk, laying on top of it olives, half rings of red onions, red caviar seeds, etc.
Salad with calamari, pickled onions and eggs is very satisfying, and therefore it can be served as an independent dish with croutons of black or white bread.
