Step cooking
- Onion weighing 35 g, cut into small cubes and pour into a bowl.
- Pour 100 ml of water into the onion.
- Add 2 tbsp. l vinegar. Pour 1 tbsp. l sugar, mix well.
- Place the finished puff pastry weighing 500 g between two layers of cling film and roll out a rolling pin to a thickness of 3-4 mm.
- We cut 4 strips 10 cm long and 4 cm wide from the dough sheet with a curly knife. We cut each strip diagonally.
- Also cut out a circle of 4-5 cm from the dough - this can be done with a glass.
- Wrap a ceramic cup with food foil.
- On the cup turned upside down, put the triangles of dough, depicting the tentacles of an octopus.
- Beat the egg with a whisk. With a brush, grease the strips of dough with a beaten egg.
- On top we put springs from the dough. We also grease the circle with the egg.
- Sprinkle the dough triangles with sesame seeds - about 0.5 tbsp. l sesame on one figure.
- From peas of allspice we make octopus eyes.
- Thus, we collect four octopuses, set the cups with figures on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
- Set the baking sheet on an average level in the oven, heated to 220ºС, for 30 minutes. In order for the dough not to burn, we put a sheet of foil on top.
- After the set time has passed, remove the pan from the oven and leave the products to cool at room temperature.
- We cut 140 g of cod liver into small pieces.
- We cut fresh cucumber weighing 100 g into cubes.
- Grind 3 boiled eggs with an egg slicer.
- We put everything in a bowl and add 100 g of canned corn.
- Remove the onion from the marinade, squeeze it and add to the total mass.
- Season the salad with mayonnaise - it will take about 90 g.
- Add salt and pepper to taste, mix gently.
- We lay out the salad on 4 plates, put the cooled octopus figures on top.
