Step cooking
- Such a salad is prepared very quickly, but it turns out tasty and healthy. First, we deal with nuts. For the dish you will need 100 g of peeled walnuts. We spread them in a pan and fry them over low heat. When roasting nuts, stir regularly with a spatula. After roasting, the nuts turn out to be more flavorful and feel better in the finished salad.
- 150 g of prunes must first be washed thoroughly in cold water to get rid of debris and sand. Then we transfer it to a deep plate, in a teapot we heat 300 ml of water and fill the prunes with boiling water. Leave it to stand for 5 minutes.
- We wash 3 medium beets under running water. We shift them into the pan, pour about a liter of water and put on the fire to cook. Cook until the beets are soft. After cooking, let cool and peel. We rub the boiled beets on a coarse grater into a deep bowl.
- After the walnuts are well browned, remove the pan from the stove. Let them cool a little and, if desired, peel them. Cut the nuts into small pieces.
- Add chopped nuts to a bowl with grated beets.
- Drain the water from the prunes and also cut it into small cubes.
- We put the cut prunes in a bowl with the rest of the salad products. All products are mixed a little to evenly distribute walnuts and prunes.
- To taste, salt the salad and add 2-3 tbsp. l mayonnaise. It is better to use homemade mayonnaise, but if you do not have time to cook it, then a store product is also suitable.
- After adding mayonnaise, mix well. The salad is ready, but so that it is completely saturated and becomes juicier, it is recommended to let it stand in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, the salad is completely ready to eat. It turns out to be tasty and healthy, while it is well suited for any side dish and main course. If desired, it can be supplemented with a few cloves of garlic.
