Step cooking
- Peel 2 large onions from husks and roots and cut them into small cubes.
- We put the frying pan on medium heat and heat 4 tbsp in it. l any vegetable oil. Fry the whole onion until golden brown. At the end, add 1-1.5 tbsp to the onion. l Tomato paste, sauce or ketchup to your taste.
- Pre-boil several large beets with a total weight of about 500 g. We clean them from the peel and other inedible parts, rub on a coarse grater and put in a pan.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. If you can put a little salt, then it is better not to skimp on ground pepper - it will give the dish the necessary piquancy and a speck.
- We send onion frying to the pan with beetroot along with tomato paste and all vegetable oil. Mix future caviar and send it to stew under the lid on the smallest fire for 35-40 minutes.
- When the right time has passed, open the lid and mix the eggs. We cover it again and leave to cool directly on a warm stove. When the dish has cooled, send it overnight in the refrigerator to insist. We use ready-made caviar both as a separate dish, and as a spread for sandwiches, and as a complement to any side dish. You can decorate it with chopped herbs or garlic chopped in any way.
