Ingredients
- Canned saury in its own juice - 1 can
- Chives - 2 bunches
- Long grain rice - 80 g
- Semi-hard cheese - 100 g
- Chicken eggs - 4 pcs.
- Mayonnaise - 80 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Parsley - 1-2 branches
- Water - 660-700 ml
Step cooking
- First of all, we cook rice for salad. It will require 80 g, while it is better to use long-grain rice. We put it in a small plate and washed several times under running water. We shift the rice into a saucepan or stewpan and pour 160-200 ml of water. We put the rice on the stove and boil it over low heat until cooked.
- In a small saucepan, put 4 chicken eggs, pouring them in about 500 ml of water. Boil the eggs to a steep state. After the eggs are cooked with rice, let them cool. Cut the boiled chicken eggs into small cubes. We put them in a deep bowl, in which it will be convenient to mix all the ingredients for the salad.
- To make the salad more healthy and fresh, you need 2 bunches of green onions. First greens need to be thoroughly washed under running water and finely chopped. So that the salad is not too bitter, but has a more delicate flavor, use only the green part of the onion. Sliced onions are sent to the salad bowl to the eggs.
- Using a can opener, open a can of saury. Pour juice into a separate bowl. Without getting the fish out of the can, with the help of a fork we grind saury. But do not knead the fish too finely to the state of mincemeat, small pieces of fish should be felt in the salad. We send saury to the pan to the rest of the ingredients.
- On a coarse grater, rub 100 g of semi-hard cheese. This recipe uses Russian, but you can take any other one that you like best. If you add hard cheese to the salad, which has a more pronounced taste, then it will interrupt the taste of fish. Grated cheese is added to the bowl with the salad.
- Boiled and cooled rice is added to the salad bowl to the rest of the products.
- At this stage, the salad must be salted to taste. But do not forget that canned fish is already salty, so do not overdo it with the addition of salt. It is also recommended to pepper the salad a little, adding black ground pepper to taste.
- At the end, we send 80 g of mayonnaise to a bowl with salad and mix everything thoroughly. If the mayonnaise is not enough, add a little more. But if you add too much mayonnaise at once, then the salad will come out not so tasty, and too thin.
- Canned saury salad is ready. We put it in a beautiful dish and decorate with 1-2 sprigs of fresh parsley on top. The salad comes out very tasty, rich and satisfying. You can cook it as for every day, so for any holiday event.
