Step cooking
- Wash 700 grams of fresh cucumbers. Trim the ends of the fruit. It is better to take greenhouse cucumbers. If the vegetables are not young, the seeds must be removed from them. Cut each cucumber transversely into cylindrical pieces about 4-5 cm long. Cut the pieces lengthwise into narrow cubes. Transfer slices into a deep bowl.
- Wash and peel one medium carrot, grate the vegetable on a grater for Korean carrots. Grated carrots put in a bowl to pieces of cucumbers.
- Cut the feathers of the pre-washed green onions into pieces 2.5-3 cm long, place in a bowl.
- Peel 5-6 cloves of garlic, crush them with the flat side of a knife, chop finely. Add chopped garlic in a bowl to the rest of the ingredients.
- Slice a pod or two hot chili peppers into thin rings. Add this ingredient as desired. If you don’t like too spicy dishes, put a little of this ingredient in cucumbers, or don’t add it at all. Instead of fresh chili peppers, you can take a pinch of hot red ground pepper.
- Pour 50 ml of any unrefined vegetable refined oil into a small saucepan (using sesame oil would be the best option for this appetizer). Heat the oil well, pour 1 tablespoon of red ground paprika into a stewpan and chopped chili peppers. Mix well in a saucepan and immediately pour it into a bowl of mixed vegetables.
- Salt the contents of the bowl to taste, pour 40 ml of soy sauce and 20 ml of table vinegar at a concentration of 9% (you can use apple or wine vinegar). Mix all the ingredients well. Tighten a bowl of salad with cling film and send to the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
