Ingredients
- cauliflower (boiled) - 300-400 g
- fresh cucumber (large) - 100 g
- fresh tomato (large) - 100 g
- onions or chives - 50 g
- salt to taste
- vegetable oil - 50 ml
- greens (parsley and dill) - a small bunch
- salad dressing - to taste
Step cooking
- First you need to boil cauliflower. To do this, separate 300-400 g of inflorescences from whole cabbage.
- Next, put a pot of water on the fire and wait for the water to boil. Throw 300 g of inflorescences into boiling water and boil for 5 minutes, then discard the cabbage in a colander and let it cool slightly. If you use not fresh, but frozen cauliflower, then it is enough to defrost it in the microwave and allow excess liquid to drain.
- While the cauliflower is cooling, you can start cutting the remaining vegetables. Take one large cucumber, cut it lengthwise into 4 parts, and then cut into large cubes. In case the cucumber is not too big, you will need a few pieces. If desired, it can be cut in any other way.
- Also chop a large tomato. It can be cut into thin slices or large cubes. Tomato can be taken both red and pink, then the taste will be even more intense.
- Following onions and tomatoes, you will need onions. You will need a little onion for this salad: it will be enough for you to chop half the medium onion. Instead of onions, you can also use green.
- Next, chop a small bunch of greens, and then send it to a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. You can take parsley and dill together or use only one type of greenery.
- At the very end, add the already cooled cauliflower, after trimming the legs of the inflorescences and dividing them into smaller pieces.
- All ingredients must be thoroughly mixed, salted, and also add any seasoning for salads. If you do not use any seasonings, then only salt and a little black pepper will be enough. At the end, cauliflower salad should be seasoned with a small amount of vegetable oil. Oil can be used sunflower, olive, coconut or any other.
