Kitchen appliances and utensils:
- chopping knife;
- rolling pin;
- test roller;
- food parchment;
- tablespoon;
- silicone mat;
- a baking sheet;
- oven.
Ingredients
Product | amount |
Wheat flour | 350 g |
Sugar | 2 tsp + 2-2.5 Art. l |
Chicken egg | 1 PC. (60 g) |
Salt | 1/2 tsp |
Sour cream | 100 g |
Butter or creamy margarine | 100 g |
Step cooking
- Turn on the preheat oven at 200 degrees. Take 350 grams of sifted flour. Add there half a teaspoon of salt and one teaspoon of baking powder.
- Then add two teaspoons with a slice of sugar. Sugar can be used at least, but not less than one teaspoon or a pinch of sugar. Then mix.
- Then add chilled, diced butter. Creamy margarine is also suitable.
- Chop everything up. If there is no chopping knife, rub the chilled oil with a grater into the flour, then grind with your hands. It should be crumbs without large pieces of butter or margarine.
- Add two tablespoons of sour cream with a good slide and one chicken egg. If you have small eggs (less than 60 grams), then you will probably need twenty to thirty grams less flour.
- Using a spoon, start kneading the dough. The dough is also well suited for baking unsweetened baskets.
- Once the dough has reached a coma, roll it out. The dough should be soft, loose, slightly sticky.
- Pour a little flour onto a silicone mat or any other clean work surface. Start using a rolling pin to roll it into a layer one and a half centimeters thick.
- Take 1/2 tablespoon of sugar and sprinkle the surface of the dough on it.
- Using a rolling pin, squeeze sugar into the dough, while getting the thickness you need.
- Take a dough roller, then cut along the squares, rhombuses, strips or whatever you want. When you form triangles, for convenience, instead of a roller knife, you can take a serrated kitchen blade for a more beautiful cut. In this case, there will be no scraps left, there will be no need to re-roll the dough. In the presence of sugar, rolling out again is not very convenient.
- Put the sliced cookies on the parchment and move it onto a baking sheet. Send the first batch to an oven preheated by 190 degrees for 11-12 minutes. However, it all depends on your oven.
- After cooling, the cookie acquires a slightly sweet taste, mainly due to sugar on top. The dough itself has a slightly salty taste. Enjoy your meal!
