Step cooking
- We start making bread with dough. To do this, pour 300 ml of water into a deep vessel. It should be at room temperature.
- In the liquid we put 1.5 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. l granulated sugar. Instead of sugar, you can use a similar amount of natural honey.
- To all the ingredients, gradually pour the sifted wheat flour. In total, 2 cups of product will be required. Stir everything well.
- In the resulting mixture add 1 tbsp. l liquid malt, re-stirring.
- To the resulting mixture add 1.5 tsp. dry yeast and mix thoroughly with a tablespoon.
- Add 2 cups of rye flour to the bowl and mix the ingredients thoroughly until smooth. Before adding it is also worth sifting through a sieve. Knead the dough with a spoon. If the flour is not sifted, then the dough will turn out less lush and soft.
- At the end, add 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil without odor.
- Continue to knead the dough with your hands. After adding oil, the dough sticks to hands less.
- Pour about 2 tbsp into the multicooker bowl. l vegetable oil and distribute it evenly along the bottom and walls.
- We transfer the finished dough into a greased bowl. Evenly distribute it along the bottom of the bowl.
- In the multicooker menu, select the "bread" mode and add another 30 minutes to the total time. During this time, the bread unfolds and grows in size.
- After the proofing, which generally lasts 2.5 hours, turn on the “baking” mode and cook the bread.
- After 1 hour, we take out the bread from the slow cooker, turn it over and bake on the other side for 30 minutes. Thus, it will evenly brown and be the same color.
- We take out the finished bread from the microwave and put it on a wooden board, allowing it to cool slightly. We cut and serve with the first or second courses. Rye bread is obtained with a golden brown and crispy crust, while quite soft and fragrant. The taste of this bread is neutral, so you can smear it with sweet jams or make sandwiches.
