Prepared pink salmon carcasses | 600 g |
Potatoes | 500 g |
Carrot | 1 PC. |

Bay leaf | 1 PC. |
Dill | 1 bunch |
Salt | 1 tsp |
Cream 20-33% | 200 ml |
Step cooking
- Peel 500 g of potatoes. Cut into halves 250 g of potatoes and put them in a pan.
- Peel 1 onion from the husk, place it whole on the halves of the potato and pour 2.5 liters of water.
- We put the pan on a big fire, wait until the water boils, reduce the heat and cook vegetables for 5-7 minutes.
- We wash the carcasses of fish under cold water, cut into large pieces and attach to cooked vegetables.
- Add 1 tsp to water. salt and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Take the second onion, peel and cut into small pieces.
- Cut the peel from carrots and grind it into small cubes.
- The remaining 250 g of raw potato is cut into strips.
- In a pan, heat 1-2 tbsp. l sunflower oil, pour the onion there and fry for about 1 minute over low heat, stirring occasionally with a spatula.
- Add the carrot cubes to the fried onion and simmer them for about 1 minute, mixing with a spatula.
- We add 30 g of butter to the frying vegetables and, stirring constantly, wait until it melts, after which we immediately remove the pan from the heat.
- We take ready-made fish and potatoes from the broth with a slotted spoon.
- We no longer need the boiled onion head, so we pull it out with a slotted spoon and put it aside or throw it away.
- In boiling broth send potatoes, cut into strips, and cook for 5-7 minutes after boiling.
- On a dinner plate, knead the potato halves cooked in the broth with a fork until a smoothie without lumps is obtained.
- We clean the fish from the skin and separate the fillet from the ridge and small bones, after which we cut it into pieces.
- Add boiled potatoes, chopped into strips, add fried onions with carrots and cook for another 10 minutes until the potatoes are soft.
- Now put mashed potatoes and fish fillet in the broth.
- Add 1 bay leaf and pour 200 ml of cream.
- Then we mix everything well and wait for our soup to boil, after which we immediately turn off the fire so that the cream does not clot.
- Finely chop the dill, sprinkle the soup on top of it and let the dish brew for about 5 minutes, then pour the ladle on the plates and serve it on the table.
- Usually this fish soup is served on the table with bread or fresh pita bread.
