Ingredients
- Fish fillet - 500 g
- Ketchup - 50 g
- Carrots - 2 pcs.
- Bay leaf - 2-3 pcs.
- Sweet bell pepper - 2 pcs.
- Sour cream - 50 g
- Onions - 2 pcs.
- Salt to taste
- Water - 70-100 ml
- Spices to taste
- Greens (optional) - to taste
- Vegetable oil - 3-4 tbsp. l
Step cooking
- First you need to prepare all the necessary vegetables. Peel 2 small onions from the husk and cut them into small cubes, as if to fry. Next, peel two small carrots and rub them on a coarse grater. Optionally, carrots can be cut into thin strips. Sweet peppers are cleaned of seeds and remove the stalk and internal hard parts, and then cut into small pieces. Next, put the pan on the stove, pour vegetable oil into it and warm it up well. In the preheated oil, spread the chopped onion first, and then the grated carrots. Constantly stirring, fry until they become soft.
- After that, put the chopped pepper in the pan, mix and fry again over medium heat for several minutes.
- Next, add 50 ml of sour cream, 50 g of ketchup to the pan, season with black ground pepper and salt to taste. Then fill with water so as to cover all the vegetables, and mix well.
- Bring to a boil and add 2-3 bay leaves. If desired, you can add hot ground pepper and peppercorns. Mix.
- Cut the fish fillet in portions and spread in a pan to vegetables. Gently distribute the fish in a pan so that gravy covers it from all sides.
- Stew fish on low heat under a closed lid until cooked. About 5-10 minutes before complete readiness, you can remove the cover to evaporate part of the liquid.
- Before serving, fish can be sprinkled with finely chopped parsley or dill. Enjoy your meal.
