Step cooking
- To start, let's take care of vegetables. We clean 5 pieces of medium carrots, rinse, grate straws on a grater for Korean carrots. If you don’t have one, use a regular, coarse grater. We clean four onions, rinse, cut into half rings. Bulbs take large. If you have small ones, then you need 8 pieces.
- Sift 1.5-2 cups flour into a plate with a wide bottom, add a couple of a pinch of salt and sugar, mix well. We will cook from hake. You can take any fish of your choice. Cod, salmon, coho salmon are perfect. First, gut the fish, remove all the insides, cut off the head. Scissors cut the fins, tail. Rinse well, cut into portions. Now roll each piece of fish in flour.
- We send the pan to the fire, pour 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, let it heat and spread the fish. Fry over high heat on both sides until golden brown. We cover the flat dish with a paper towel and spread the fish, so we will remove excess vegetable oil from it.
- In a saucepan or stew-pan we pour 3 tbsp. l vegetable oil, let it heat and spread the chopped onion. Fry over medium heat for a couple of minutes until transparent.
- We send all the carrots to the onion, mix, simmer for 2-3 minutes under the lid, stirring occasionally.
- Add to the vegetables 1.5 cups of water and 4 tablespoons of tomato paste. Mix well, add 1 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. l sugar, 5 peas of black pepper, two bay leaves, two cloves and another half glass of water. Mix everything thoroughly and leave to simmer for 10 minutes. If you wish, you can add any other spices as you wish.
- After that, take the baking dish, put the first half of the stewed vegetables on it, then put the fried pieces of fish on top. Cover evenly with the remaining part of the vegetables. We cover the baking sheet with foil, send it to the oven, bake at a temperature of 180 degrees 40 minutes.
- After that we take it out, remove the foil, let it cool slightly. Serve to the table in portioned plates along with boiled potatoes. Fish with vegetables is very juicy, it can be consumed as a completely independent dish. She is very tasty even cold. For storage, transfer to a container with a lid and refrigerate.
