Step cooking
Prepare the fish
- Haddock weighing about 800-1000 g thoroughly washed with cold running water, and then cleaned of bones and offal. Cut the cleaned fish into pieces 3-5 cm thick.
- Put the haddock in a deep bowl and fill it with 250 ml of milk. We leave the fish to soak for at least half an hour, but it is best to withstand the product for about 1-1: 30. The longer the fish is soaked in milk, the softer and juicier it will end up.
- We take out the haddock from milk and dry it slightly with paper towels to get rid of excess fluid.
- Spread 40 g of mustard in a small container and add one pinch of dried thyme, dill and parsley. We send 10-15 g of table salt there, after which we stir everything thoroughly.
- We carefully coat each piece of haddock with the resulting mixture. We take a basket of a double boiler and carefully spread it with foil. We lay prepared fish pieces on top of the foil. We measure out 30-40 g of butter and cut it into small pieces, after which we spread it on top of the fish in a chaotic manner.
Prepare a side dish
- We thoroughly rinse 200 g of buckwheat with cold water. Pour the washed cereal into the crock-pot.
- On top of buckwheat, add 2 pinches of salt and pour 300 ml of bottled water without gas.
The final stage
- On top of buckwheat, we set the basket with fish and close the lid of the multicooker.
- Select the mode "Rice, grits." Set the timer to 30 minutes.
- After the specified period, we transfer the buckwheat to a flat plate and put the fish there.
