Kitchen appliances and utensils
- fine grater;
- garlic clover;
- cutting board;
- knife;
- deep capacity;
- vegetable cutter;
- flat dish.
Ingredients
- Long cucumbers - 2 pcs.
- Hard cheese - 100 g
- Crab sticks - 100 g
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Cilantro - to taste
- Dill - to taste
- Soft cream cheese - 100 g
Step cooking
- Hard cheese (you need about 100 g) three on a fine grater and transfer to a deep container.
- Using garlic presses (or the same fine grater), chop 2-3 cloves of garlic and add chopped garlic to the cheese.
- A small amount of cilantro and dill (the amount of greens is adjusted to taste) is finely chopped with a knife and also added to cheese.
- Also, in a container with hard cheese, garlic and herbs, add 100 g of soft cream cheese and mix thoroughly together.
- Cut crab sticks (100 g) into small cubes.
- Cucumbers (they should be even and long enough) are washed under running water and cut into long thin layers using a vegetable cutter.
- From the cheese filling, with wet hands, we form small balls (slightly larger than cherries).
- We put the ball on the cucumber strip, stepping back a bit from the edge, and roll the cucumber with the ball inside into the roll (if the roll unfolds, you can fix it with a toothpick or skewer).
- On top of the finished and vertically placed roll, lay out the sliced crab sticks.
- We put cucumber rolls on a flat dish and serve.
Decoration and serving
Instead of crab sticks, you can also use shrimp meat, slices of red fish (for example, salmon), salted herring fillet, smoked chicken, ham, etc. Cook such cucumber rolls immediately before serving, because the cucumber, as you know, “starts up” water.
It is recommended to serve these rolls in front of the main course with cold appetizers. For a more effective serving, you can put them on a dish covered with green lettuce.
