Step cooking
We form bagels
- Sprinkle a rubber mat or tabletop with a small amount of flour. On top of the flour we spread ready chopped puff pastry in the amount of 300-350 g. We roll out the dough using a rolling pin into a thin round layer.
- Using a sharp knife, divide the circle from the dough into triangles of the same shape. In the wide base of the triangle we spread the pecans. Pour about 3-5 g of brown sugar next to it.
- We take the edges of the dough and gently twist the dense bagel, carefully wrapping the filling. On a wide portion of the next triangle, lay out 5-7 g of white sugar and as much roasted peanuts.
- Repeat the procedure for forming a bagel in the same way as in the previous case. The third triangle is stuffed with brown sugar and almond leaves. We form bagels with various fillings from the whole dough.
Bake product
- We cover the baking sheet with baking paper, on top of which we spread the bagels, laying them with the seam down. Products should be located at a small distance from each other in order to maintain their original shape.
- We take one chicken egg and gently separate the yolk from the protein. We don’t need protein. Add about 10 ml of water to the yolk, and then thoroughly beat the ingredients with an ordinary fork. Lubricate the surface of each bagel with an egg mixture so that the finished baked goods have a beautiful ruddy “hat”.
- Sprinkle greased products with brown sugar or dip in it with the greased part of the yolk. We heat the oven to a temperature of 180-200 ° С.
- We send a baking sheet with bagels to the oven and bake there for no more than 25 minutes.
The final stage
- We take out the finished baked goods from the oven and allow it to cool to a warm state.
- Then we carefully lay out each bagel on a flat large dish.
- We serve everyone who wants to try it.
