Ingredients
- Rice (preferably long-grain) - 150 g
- Water - 150 g
- Canned corn - 2 tbsp. l
- Green peas - 2 tbsp. l
- Cauliflower - 5 inflorescences
- Carrots - 0.5 pcs.
- Onions - 0, 5 heads
- Vegetable oil for frying - 3 tbsp. l
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper (pepper mixture) - to taste
- A sprig of parsley for decoration - 2-3 pcs.
Step cooking
- Before cooking vegetables, turn on the slow cooker in frying mode for heating and pour 3 tbsp into the bowl. l vegetable oil.
- Peel half the onion and half of the carrots and cut into cubes. In 5 cauliflower inflorescences, cut off the remaining part of the stem and divide into very small inflorescences.
- Prepared in such a way onions, carrots, cabbage send to fry in a slow cooker.
- Lightly fry the vegetables, add 2 tbsp. l corn and green peas. Mix the ingredients, pour 150 g of rice. The peculiarity of this recipe is that rice can not be washed and not soaked, but dry cereal can be poured into the multicooker bowl. However, many housewives always prefer to wash the rice to rid the groats of small debris and excess starch.
- After pouring rice, salt and pepper all the products to taste. Pour 150 g of water. Level the surface of the rice-vegetable mixture and close the slow cooker.
- Switch to rice / porridge mode, set the time for 15 minutes, turn on the start. Due to the small amount of food, rice can cook even in such a short time.
- After 15 minutes, we check: if everything is ready, then pour the rice into a special ring shape on a flat plate. Lightly condense the rice with vegetables in a spoon, then remove the ring and decorate the dish with a sprig of fresh parsley.
