Step cooking
- We take 500 grams of any fresh meat, carefully wash it under water and cut into thin long slices on a cutting board. It is not necessary to completely cut off fat from meat, otherwise it will turn out to be very dry.
- We turn to the preparation of rice. Take 200 grams of rice, wash it in three waters, fill it with cold water and set aside for the time of cooking the meat. Pour rice 1: 2, that is, 1 cup of rice 2 cups of cold water.
- Next, take 1 medium onion, peel it and cut into small cubes.
- On a large kitchen grater, rub 1 medium carrot, peeled.
- We turn on the gas or electric stove, put it on it to warm up the pan over medium heat. In a well-heated pan, put the chopped meat and pour a little vegetable oil. Fry meat, stirring until tender.
- When the meat becomes rosy and well-fried, put in it the previously chopped onions, fry for 1 minute and add the grated carrots. Also add about 0.5 teaspoon of the mixture of peppers and coriander. Close the lid and fry over medium heat for 7-10 minutes.
- Add 50-70 grams of water and 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce to the pan. The sauce can be taken both homemade and purchased. Mix thoroughly, salt to taste and simmer over low heat for another 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the water from the rice, transfer the rice to a pan with a thick bottom and pour the rice with cold water, in a 1: 2 ratio. We also add salt and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the rice.
- We put the rice on the fire and cook until cooked, with the lid closed. To give the rice a piquant taste, add finely chopped garlic clove.
- We begin to collect the dish. We take ½ tomato and cut into thin half rings with a sharp knife, and then remove the edges. We spread the tomatoes so that we get a fan.
- We take a deep and high form for rice and cover it with cling film. We spread most of the finished rice and form a bowl of rice, as in the photo.
- We spread the meat very quickly in the middle so that it does not have time to empty its juice.
- Spread the remaining rice on top and turn the dish on a plate in which it will be served.
- We align the edges with a knife and begin to decorate. From the prepared tomatoes, twisting in a spiral, form a rose and very quickly transfer it to the top of the dish. Garnish around the dish with herbs, lettuce or canned green peas. Enjoy your meal!
