Ingredient preparation
- Boil rice until cooked in salted water. For 3-4 servings of this dish, you will need approximately 300 g of rice. It is best to use long-grain varieties to make rice crisp and gluten-free.
- We clean the shrimp from the shell and internal organs. If you have unpeeled shrimp, take 200 g per waste. If you purchased already peeled, they will need only 100 g.
- Peel ⅓ part of carrots, 2 cloves of garlic and ½ medium onion (средней large) from inedible elements. Cut the carrots and onions into small cubes of approximately the same size.
- First, crush the garlic with a knife, and then chop it as finely as possible or pass through a press.
- Cut into the same slices as carrots and onions, ⅙ part of the zucchini (if you have one), and 3 bunches of green onions.
- Break into a cup and mix until smooth, 1 chicken egg.
Cooking
- Pour 1 tbsp into the pan. l vegetable oil and pour the egg mass. Fry it over low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring to make flakes. Having completed this, remove the pan from the heat and set a large one.
- Pour into the pan the remaining 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil, heat it and put chopped garlic. It is not necessary to fry it, it will only be enough to warm it up slightly so that the characteristic aroma goes.
- When the garlic is ready, add the chopped ordinary and green onions, zucchini and carrots to the pan. Fry them until half cooked, stirring occasionally.
- The next ingredient in the pan will be shrimp. Together with them, add 1 tbsp. l rice wine. If you don’t have one, replace it with plain white or don’t add at all. Alcohol will evaporate completely during processing and only a light aroma will remain.
- Frying shrimp for 1-1.5 minutes, add boiled rice to the total mass. Mix it well with all the other ingredients and also cook for a few minutes.
- Next, add 1 tbsp. l oyster sauce (can be replaced with ordinary soya), ½ tsp. salt and ground black pepper and ½ tbsp. l any ketchup. Mix everything thoroughly to disperse the ingredients.
- At the very end, add the egg flakes to the dish and water it ½ tbsp. l sesame oil.
- Stir again and serve the rice with shrimp and vegetables to the table.
- It is best to eat the finished dish in hot form, you can additionally decorate it with shavings of cucumber, any greens, sesame seeds, caraway seeds or dill, and even grated cheese.
