Ingredients

Step cooking
- We prepare all the ingredients. We clean and wash the squid. Cook chicken or fish broth. Chop onion and garlic. Put the pan on the fire, heat and add oil. Let the oil warm up and add onion and garlic to the pan. Salt and mix well all the ingredients.
- While garlic and onions are fried in olive oil, cut the squid into small rings.
- Add calamari to garlic with onion and butter. Mix all the ingredients. Fry everything for about 5-7 minutes.
- After 5-7 minutes, add the rice washed in advance. We mix the ingredients and let the rice soak up all the juices from oil, onions and garlic.
- While these ingredients are fried together, we make the paint for rice from natural squid ink. To do this, put ink and 500 milliliters of broth in the blender bowl. Beat with a blender at low speed until smooth and blackened.
- When the rice is fried, fill everything with black broth, mix and simmer all the ingredients together.
- Cover with a lid, turn down the heat to a minimum and leave the rice to simmer until completely absorbed.
- Done! Can be served. Enjoy your meal!

Black rice with squid will look very impressive on the festive table. There are several interesting ways to help you transform the dish, and here are a few of them:
- Serve the squid rice in beautiful white plates, laying the rice in the middle of the plate using a round shape so that the rice does not fall apart.
- Garnish the plate with smears of sauce and spices.
- Garnish the dish itself with chopped herbs, a slice of lime or lemon, and dried herbs.
- Serve the rice in one deep dish, and do not forget to put a large spoon so that guests can put themselves the rice in the quantity they need.
Decorate the table with a festive tablecloth, serving napkins and beautiful cutlery.
