Ingredients
Product name | amount |
salmon fillet | 500 g |
lemon | 1/2 pcs. |
dill | 3-5 branches |
a tomato | 1 PC. |
hard cheese | 100 g |
mayonnaise | 50 g |
salt pepper | taste |
odorless vegetable oil | 2 tbsp. l |
Step cooking
- We prepare salmon fillet: we wash the fish in cold water, check for bones and, if there are any, carefully remove them. To do this, you can use tweezers or do with a knife - just prying them by the tip, pulling out, holding the fillet with your second hand.
- Before cooking, salmon must be marinated briefly. To do this, salt it to your taste, sprinkle with black pepper, sprinkle with the juice of half a lemon. It is better to make these manipulations on both sides of the fillet so that it is marinated faster and more evenly. Slightly scrub the fish meat with your fingers, gently rubbing the marinade into it. Leave to lie for 15-20 minutes.
- At this time, we are preparing the remaining products. We wash one medium-sized tomato and 3-5 sprigs of dill with water. Cut the tomato into rings.
- Finely chop the dill.
- Rub on a coarse grater 100 g of hard cheese.
- We cover the baking sheet with a large sheet of foil (cut off with a margin of such a size so that later we can completely wrap the fish steak with vegetables). Stack the salmon fillet in the center of the foil. Sprinkle dill with greens on top.
- Next, lay out the rings of tomatoes. Sprinkle lightly with salt and ground pepper.
- Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Sprinkle with a small amount (about two tablespoons) of odorless vegetable oil (both olive and sunflower, refined will do). On top of the cheese, apply a mayonnaise net (approximately 50 g mayonnaise).
- We wrap the foil with an envelope, twisting and tightly fastening the edges to prevent leakage of juice during baking. Thus, the fish will be baked in a kind of bathhouse and will not lose moisture, so it will remain juicy.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and send the pan with the fish wrapped in foil to bake for 30-40 minutes.
- After this time, we take out the baking sheet from the oven, let it cool slightly, and only then unwrap it. Be careful! Hot foil may still remain inside the foil. Carefully transfer the fish to a beautiful dish and serve.
