Step cooking
- In a deep bowl, beat two chicken eggs, add 200 g of sugar to them and beat with a mixer until lightly thickened. Optionally, you can add a pinch of vanillin.
- To a beaten egg, add a glass of kefir and a glass of your chosen jam - apricot, plum or any other to your taste, leaving about a tablespoon to grease the finished cake. Beat the resulting mixture with a mixer.
Important! Also in the dough, if desired, add 1 tbsp. l cognac, but alcohol is not an essential ingredient, it is needed in order to give the cake more airiness and friability. - In a separate deep plate with a whisk, mix 2 cups flour and 1 tbsp. l soda. You can also use a baking powder for the test, in which case 2 tsp should be added to the flour. baking powder and 1 tsp. soda.
- Flour with soda (and baking powder) gradually pour to previously whipped liquid ingredients, thoroughly mixing the dough with a whisk. Also add a handful of chopped walnuts.
- Cover the baking dish with food parchment so that its edges look beyond the sides of the form - it will be more convenient to remove the finished pie. Lubricate the parchment with nothing. Pour the dough into the mold and send the cake to the oven preheated to 200 degrees.
- After the dough is baked at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 180 and leave the cake in the oven for another 20-40 minutes until it is ready. Check the dough for readiness by piercing it with a toothpick or a match: if it remains dry, then the cake is ready and you can get it out of shape.
- While your cake is cooling, prepare a sprinkle. To do this, mix 1 tsp in a blender. cinnamon, a handful of chopped nuts and 1 tbsp. l Sahara.
- Coat the cooled cake on top with the remaining jam and sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon, nuts and sugar.
Decoration methods and serving options
The advantage of making this pie is that you can experiment with the ingredients and serving. So, instead of the sprinkles suggested in the recipe, you can use powdered sugar to decorate.
In addition, you can change the taste of the Negro in Foam pie by adding a new kind of jam to the dough each time, or, for example, replacing walnuts with hazelnuts or almonds.
