Step cooking
Dough
- Let's start by making dumplings dough. Pour 250 ml of warm water into a bowl, drive one egg in.
- Mix thoroughly with a tablespoon, add one teaspoon of salt without top, mix again. It is important that the egg is fresh, so try to buy eggs from trusted sellers, preferably marked “D” - this means the freshest, dietary.
- Add flour to the bowl. This must be done carefully. Do not pour all the flour into a bowl at once, add a tablespoon gradually, since the dough should be soft. If you pour out all the flour, the dough turns out to be tight, this does not fit our dish.
- When it becomes uncomfortable to knead in the container, put the dough on the table and knead, adding flour if necessary. When the dough does not stick to your hands, then it is ready. We may have flour, we are not in a hurry to throw it away, it will come in handy for us. All flour can go, it depends on the variety, so choose a high quality product when buying. We put the dough in a plastic bag and put it to the side, let it lie down while we prepare the filling.
Minced meat
- We peel the onions, wash them under the tap, cut or chop all three onions in a blender.
- Add the onion mass to the stuffing. Stuffing can be used in various ways: pork, beef, chicken. We took the pork and beef.
- Sprinkle black pepper on top, do it based on our preferences, whoever loves. Add salt to taste and mix well.
Gravy
- Peel the carrots, wash under running water. If the carrots are large, then we take 2-3 pieces, the average - 4-5 pieces. Grind it in a blender, set aside.
- We put the pan on the fire, pour 30 ml of vegetable oil there, add 100 grams of butter, heat it.
- We send carrots there. You can take less oil, but we know that carrots strongly absorb fat in a pan, so you need to take more butter. We keep the carrots on low heat under the lid until ready, it will be our sauce for dumplings, but it is not ready yet.
- Now peel 3-5 cloves of garlic, wash under a tap, pass through a press. You can take granulated garlic, this will not harm the dumplings.
- Carrots reached readiness. Add garlic, dried herbs, a little salt to the pan.
- We put sour cream here, mix everything thoroughly.
- All this mixture should be stewed, become gravy for dumplings, so mix several times, keep for 4-5 minutes on low heat. You can take sour cream of any fat content, depending on preferences, but it is better if it is fat.
Dumplings
- We return to the test. It lay down, became soft. It must be mixed in order to become even and homogeneous. Roll out the dough into one large layer, with a thin layer, the thinner the better.
- Divide the reservoir into two approximately equal parts.
- We put the minced meat on one side, level it, leaving an empty strip on one side.
- We begin to wrap another edge, the one on which they did not leave a strip.
- We roll the whole layer filled with meat with a roll, pinch the dough with the free edge so that the meat does not fall out. We carry out the same actions with the other part of the test.
- We got two sausages. One of them can be sent to the freezer, and the other can be cooked immediately. For storage, cut the sausage into 2-3 parts, wrap it with food paper or put in a bag, send it to the freezer.
- We cut another roll into round sections one centimeter thick.
- Place the chopped dumplings in a pan, top with gravy.
- Carefully add a little water, set on fire.
- They should be stewed on a minimum heat under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
- Then turn off the fire. Our lazy dumplings are ready.
- While serving the dish, sprinkle it with fresh herbs.
Dumplings are very beautiful in appearance, very tasty smell of garlic. But it is desirable to eat them immediately, because during storage they will soften in gravy, lose their appearance and taste. That's why we recommend storing the dish in the freezer, and cook as needed. When removed from the freezer, keep dumplings for 20 minutes at room temperature, cook while still frozen. With this dish you will please your family, it will not be a shame to treat your friends.
