Shrimp cleaning
- Remember to pre-thaw the shrimp. If you purchased unpeeled shrimp, you will have to remove excess from them. Although at first glance it seems complicated, but in fact it is quite simple. It’s easy to remove the head, legs and tail - just pull them.
- Remove the shell of the shrimp by sliding your fingers across the entire shell. The plates should separate one after another.
- On the back of the shrimp is an intestinal vein. It must be removed. Make a small cut with a knife and remove it.
Shrimp Cooking
- Cut two cloves of garlic into large slices. Cut one medium-sized onion into a small cube. Add 20 grams of butter to a hot skillet. Put the garlic and onions in a pan. Stir, fry until golden brown and soft onion.
- To the onion and garlic, add to the pan 500 grams of pre-peeled shrimp and half a teaspoon of chili pepper.
- Pour 200 milliliters of dry white wine and half lemon juice into the shrimp. Salt to taste.
- Add 5 grams of oregano. After 2-3 minutes, increase the heat. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the wine starts to evaporate. Shrimps are ready. Enjoy your meal!
