Ingredients
- Jam - 1 stack.

- In a deep bowl, add 1 cup of jam and 1 teaspoon of soda.
Did you know?Take any jam for gingerbread. But it is better not to use blueberry jam (blueberries, currants, etc.) - it will give the gingerbread an unappetizing color, especially if you do not add cocoa.
- Mix until foam. Leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
- Beat 1 chicken egg in a separate bowl with a whisk or fork. After 10 minutes have passed, add the egg to the jam with soda and mix thoroughly.
- Pour in 1 cup of kefir and mix the dough.
- Next, send 1 cup of sugar to the mixture. Shuffle.
- Sieve 1.5 cups flour and 3 tablespoons of cocoa into a separate bowl through a sieve. If you do not like the chocolate flavor in baking, then replace cocoa with flour. Add dry ingredients to liquid ones. The consistency of the dough should look like thick sour cream. If it is too liquid, add a little more sifted flour. For spices, use cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg to taste. Knead a uniform dough.
Baking
- Cover the baking dish with parchment paper or a little butter. If you take a silicone mold, then you do not need to lubricate it.
- Put the dough in the mold. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Send the baking to the oven.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes. Cooking time depends on the capacity of your oven. Check readiness with a toothpick or wooden stick. Pierce the mowing with a toothpick, if there is no dough left on it and it is not wet, then the mowing is ready.
- Remove the mold from the oven. Carefully remove the cake from the mold by pulling on parchment paper. Allow the gingerbread to cool, and then cut into portions. The dish is ready. Enjoy your meal!
Feed options
After the ginger cake has cooled, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar, and then cut it. It is necessary to sprinkle already cooled cake, otherwise the powder will melt. To get evenly decorate, use a sieve. You can also decorate the gingerbread with fresh berries and mint leaves.
