Ingredients
- Potato - 150 g
- Frozen Green Peas - 150 g
- Flour - 500 g
- Green chili pepper - 3 pcs.
- Ginger Root - 20 g
- Cilantro - 15 g
- Ghee - 4 tbsp. l
- Cumin - 1 tsp.
- Ground chili pepper - 1 tsp.
- Turmeric - ¼ tsp
- Ground coriander - 1 tsp.
- Salt to taste
- Pomegranate seeds - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 L
Step cooking
- Take 150 g of potatoes, rinse and place in a saucepan. Cook it until cooked.
- Also for 5-7 minutes. boil 150 g of frozen green peas.
- Pour boiled peas into a container of ice water.
- Sift 500 g of flour into a separate bowl.
- Add 50 ml of water to the flour and start kneading the dough.
- Add water and mix until you get a uniform lump of dough.
- Cover the dough with cling film and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Crush the mashed potatoes.
- Finely chop 3 green chili peppers, 15 g cilantro and 20 g peeled ginger root in the hotel containers.
- Add 4 tbsp to the pan. l ghee and heat it.
- Next, add 1 tsp to the pan. cumin and fry it for about 15 seconds.
- Add ginger to the cumin and fry them together.
- After add chopped chili and 1 tsp. ground chili. Thoroughly mix the composition and fry.
- Next, add ¼ tsp. To the pan. turmeric and 1 tsp. ground coriander. Fry for 1 minute. At this stage, everything can be salted to taste.
- Then add crushed potatoes and peas without water to the pan. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring thoroughly.
- After add to the pan 1 tsp. pomegranate seeds and chopped cilantro. Mix everything and allow the resulting composition to cool.
- Mash the infused dough into an oblong sausage and cut it into 8 identical pieces.
- Take one slice of dough, roll it into a ball, and then roll it with a rolling pin.
- After the resulting sheet of dough, cut with a knife in half.
- Take 1 half, grease its edge with water and make a small cup of dough.
- In this cup, put a small amount of the previously prepared filling and close its edges. Follow the steps above with all pieces of dough.
- Next, pour 1 liter of vegetable oil into a deep pan and heat it to 180 degrees. Fry samosas for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer finished products to paper towels or napkins to get rid of fat.
