Ingredients
- Boiled beets - 3 pcs.
- Cucumbers - 300 g
- Boiled eggs - 4 pcs.
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Chives - 1 bunch
- Kefir - 1 liter
- Sparkling water - 1 liter
- Sugar - 2 tbsp. l
- Salt and pepper - to taste
- Lemon juice - 40 ml.
- Mustard - 2 tbsp. l
Step cooking
- First, prepare a deep saucepan and grate beets on a coarse grater. When cooking beets, be sure to add lemon juice or 1 tbsp. l vinegar.
- To the beets we rub fresh cucumbers, from which all the stalks were previously cut off.
- Then we rub the boiled eggs and send to the pan to all the vegetables.
- Chop finely green onions and dill, send to the pan and mix thoroughly.
- Add a liter of kefir to the vegetables and mix.
- Kefir is followed by a liter of sparkling water. Kefir and water are best cooled in the refrigerator.
- Add salt, sugar and pepper to taste and mix thoroughly again.
- Let the borscht brew for 1 hour and serve. Enjoy your meal!
