Step cooking
- To prepare this dish we will take one fresh pink salmon. You can use frozen fish, then thaw it beforehand. You can also bake ready-made salmon steaks. To begin with, we clear the fish of scales, cut out the gills, leave the head. We cut the belly, remove all the insides and wash the carcass.
- Then wet our hands with olive or vegetable oil and rub all the fish inside and out.
- Then mix 1 tsp. salt and white pepper and rub this mixture with fish. White pepper goes well with pink salmon, it emphasizes its taste. If desired, you can use regular, ground black pepper or a mixture of peppers. You can also grate with any seasonings for fish at your discretion. You can sprinkle with freshly squeezed lemon juice and leave to marinate for 15 minutes.
- We cover the baking sheet with several layers of foil, with it we will wrap pink salmon. Cut the third part from the lemon and set it aside; it will come in handy for decoration after baking. From the remaining, we cut four thin circles and several lemon slices. We put the circles on a baking sheet one side by side - this will be a pillow for fish.
- We put pink salmon on top of the lemon.
- We clean the onion, cut into thin half rings. We wash a small bunch of green dill.
- Then, inside the fish, we put lemon slices, onion half rings, dill, alternating the ingredients with each other in layers. Now we wrap the carcass in foil tightly so that the juice does not come out during baking.
- We send the fish to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for half an hour.
- After this time, we take out the fish, remove the foil from it and send it to bake for another 15 minutes.
- We take the baked pink salmon from the oven, transfer to a portioned dish, and can serve it to the table. Such pink salmon will be an excellent decoration of the festive table. It turns out very juicy, tasty. It is better to serve it whole, decorated with lemon and herbs. You can put it on a dish covered with lettuce. In addition, cook and serve vegetable salad or baked vegetables.
