Step cooking
- We take rabbit meat (1.5 kg), wash it with cold running water, remove excess moisture with paper towels, cut it into small pieces. Rabbit meat must be of high quality. When buying, pay attention to the color, it should be pink, without dark spots. The smell of raw meat will be tender, good.
- Turn on the hob on medium heat, put a frying pan on it, pour 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil, bring to a boil.
- Put the sliced pieces of rabbit meat in a hot pan, lightly salt it, add 0.5 tsp. allspice, fry on both sides until golden brown.
- We put a pan or a roasting pan on the hob, lay the fried rabbit meat in it.
- We take 150 g of carrots, peel the vegetables with a knife, peel with cold running water, let it dry a little, and then cut into strips with a knife on a cutting board. We take 2 medium-sized onions, peel them with my cold water, cut them into half rings on a cutting board. In a pan on which the meat was fried, pour the carrots and onions, fry the vegetables until golden brown.
- We take sweet bell pepper (1 pc.), Wash it thoroughly, peel it off of tails and seeds, cut it into small cubes on a cutting board, put it in a frying pan to the fried vegetables, lightly stew.
- We take 1 kg of raw potato, peel the vegetables with a knife, peel with my running water, cut into medium sized cubes. Put the chopped potatoes in a pot with finished rabbit meat.
- Fried vegetables are poured on top of the potatoes, pour hot water in such an amount that the contents of the pan are completely covered with liquid.
- Cover, bring to a boil, simmer the stew over low heat after boiling for about 35 minutes.
- 15 minutes before cooking, add 0.5 st. l salt, 1 pc. bay leaf, 6 pcs. allspice peas.
- At the end of cooking, pour the cream (200 ml) into the stew, bring to a boil, but do not boil.
- We take 1 bunch of parsley, wash it with running water, dry it, cut into small pieces, put it in a pan, cover with a lid, let it brew for about 2 minutes.
- Rabbit stew with vegetables ready. Enjoy your meal.
