  • sieve for sifting flour;
  • deep bowl;
  • wooden spatula;
  • cling film;
  • pan;
  • paper towel;
  • a dish for serving ready-made donuts.

Premium flour 2.5 cups
Milk 200 ml
Egg 1 PC.
Dry yeast 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Vegetable oil 460-470 ml

Step cooking

  1. We proceed to the preparation of the crumpets, pouring 1 tsp into a deep plate. dry yeast and 1 tsp. sugar with the top. Stir the ingredients thoroughly.
    Combine dry yeast and sugar.
  2. Pre-heat milk in an amount of 200 ml to 35 degrees and pour a mixture of dry yeast and sugar. Mix a little with a teaspoon and set aside in a warm place until the yeast completely dissolves.
    Add warm milk to the mixture of yeast and sugar.
  3. Sift 2 and a half cups of flour in advance and pour into a deep bowl. Add 1 tsp. with a hill of sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and pour 1 egg.
    Add salt to the flour, beat the egg.
  4. We also pour yeast suitable for milk into the dough mix. Knead the dough with a wooden spatula.
    Add the yeast mass to the flour.
  5. After all the flour is kneaded in the dough, add 60-70 ml of vegetable oil. We continue to knead with a spoon, as the dough for crumpets sticks to your hands.
    We also add vegetable oil to the dough.
  6. Knead it for 2-3 minutes. The dough should become soft and elastic, not dense. We cover the dish with the dough with cling film and set it in a warm place for 1 hour. If the room has a cool temperature, then the dough is insisted for an hour and a half.
    Knead the soft dough and leave it to rise in a warm place.
  7. Lubricate the table with vegetable oil and put the dough on it. We make small workpieces from the dough no larger than a chicken egg. We leave the blanks to lie on the table with vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes.
    When the dough comes up, we form small balls out of it.
  8. Pour 400 ml of vegetable oil into a frying pan and put on fire. The amount of oil is adjusted independently depending on the diameter of the pan. It is required that during the frying process, the crumpets are half immersed in oil.
    Heat the oil in a frying pan or saucepan.
  9. After the vegetable oil warms up well, we take each blank from the dough one by one, make a hole in the middle so that the dough takes the form of a ring.
    In each workpiece we make a hole in the center.
  10. We spread the blanks in a pan. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
    Put dough pieces into boiling oil and fry on both sides.
  11. Put the fried crumpets on a plate with a paper towel. Thus, it is possible to get rid of excess fat.
    From the pan we transfer the crumpets to paper towels.
  12. We transfer ready-made donuts to a beautiful dish and serve for tea. They can be decorated with icing sugar. You can serve jam or jam to your liking.
    Donuts cooked in a pan can be sprinkled with icing sugar for sweetness.
