Step cooking
- Before cooking, you need to prepare 700 grams of millet. We put a pot of water on a gas or electric stove, bring to a boil and cook millet for 5 minutes. Then we drain the water, rinse the porridge, and our millet is ready to cook porridge.
- Take 3 medium carrots and cut into medium strips with a sharp knife. No need to rub it on a grater, it will not taste good in porridge.
- Next, cut 3 onions into half rings and divide into straws.
- We put a pan with a very thick bottom on a gas or electric stove and pour 100-150 grams of sunflower oil into it.
- When the oil is heated, put the previously chopped onions and carrots in the pan. All mix well and fry for 5-7 minutes, so that the vegetables become soft and transparent. We fry on fire between strong and medium.
- When the vegetables are cooked, we put in them 1 kg of chopped boneless chicken, mix everything, salt and pepper to taste. We continue to fry for 10 minutes, the chicken should turn white.
- Pour prepared millet porridge into a pan with chicken and vegetables. We evenly millet on a pan and fill everything with boiling water. Water should be 2 fingers higher than millet.
- Bring the porridge to a boil, taste it. If necessary, then salt. No need to mix. Reduce to medium heat and cook until liquid boils, it will take about 10-15 minutes.
- When there is little liquid, reduce the fire to the smallest, cover with a lid and cook for 5-7 minutes. Next, turn off the heat and let the porridge stand for another 10 minutes.
- Mix well the porridge and serve. Enjoy your meal!

- Before cooking porridge, it must be well sorted so that it does not have litter or grains of other porridge.
- Remember to thoroughly rinse millet before cooking. Rinse it until the water becomes clear.
