Step cooking
- We cut and thoroughly wash the fish. We cut onions and tomatoes in half rings. Before you start stuffing the fish, you need to turn on the oven, setting the temperature to 180 degrees, so that it has time to warm up.
- To start the muksun, you need to salt and pepper. Salt and pepper both outside and inside.
- Next, spread the vegetables in the fish. Tightly put half rings along the entire abdomen.
- Having spread the vegetables, we begin to wrap the foil. Wrap tightly using several layers of foil so that fish and vegetables do not ooze during cooking.
- We spread on a baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes. For a medium-sized fish, this is enough. As a side dish for baked muksun, you can use baked potatoes and Brussels sprouts. To understand that the fish is completely ready, you need to check whether the meat is peeling off easily. It should be white and soft.
- After serving, you can serve with the side dish. Enjoy your meal!
Did you know? Very often fish is stuffed with lemon. You can also find lemon seasonings for fish on sale. This is done in order to repel an unpleasant fishy smell. But if you cook muxun, this is not necessary, since this species of fish belongs to the salmon family, and does not have a specific smell.
