Step cooking
- First you need to gut and thoroughly rinse the fish.
- Next, peel the onion and cut it into rings.
- Cut the lemon into rings.
- Cover the baking sheet with foil. The foil should be slightly longer than the baking sheet itself. Lightly grease the foil with vegetable oil. Next, lay on the baking sheet a pillow of onions. Spread a portion of lemon slices on top, and set aside.
- After the onion-lemon pillow is ready, go directly to the fish itself. Rub it with salt on all sides. Do not forget to salt and inside. After that, just as well, pepper both outside and inside. Finally, rub the fish with thyme. It needs very little, because it is a very fragrant seasoning, so you do not need to add a lot of it. We rub on all sides, and do not forget to rub on the inside. Then we shift the fish to the onion and lemon pillow. Make sure that under each fish there is both onion and lemon. The char should be saturated with onion and lemon juice.
- Next, spread the remaining lemon slices on top, so that the char is also saturated with lemon juice on top. So the fish is tasty, juicy, with a slight acidity.
- After that, if desired, you can pour a little soy sauce on top, but this is not necessary.
- Top with a small amount of vegetable oil. Instead, you can also use creamy. Put small pieces on top of the fish, and during baking it will melt and soak the whole dish. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, and meanwhile, pack the fish in foil. We close the fish on all sides so that the juices do not flow out onto the baking sheet. To do this, we turn one more under the main layer of foil. We do this on both sides.
