- Chickpeas - 200 g

- To begin with, pour the chickpeas in cold water and leave for at least 4 hours, and you can pour in the evening so that he stays in the water all night. After such a soaking, it is not necessary to add soda during cooking, since when the chickpeas are soaked in water, all the carbon dioxide that is in the fruit reacts with the water and exits. It is possible to drain the water while soaking and pour fresh.
- Drain the water, rinse the chickpeas and pour into a saucepan. Fill with water and set on fire. Add salt to taste. If desired, you can not salt. Bring to a boil, remove the foam.
- Reduce the heat and cook until tender, covering it with a lid. Depending on the type of chickpea, it can cook for 40-60 minutes.
- If you cook the chickpea without soaking, it is recommended to rinse it, add water and cook for 10 minutes over high heat, then reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer for another 1 hour under a closed lid, adding a pinch of soda. When the chickpeas are boiled, drain the water.
- To remove the shell from the peas, fill the cooked chickpeas with cold water and clean them off with our hands, while the films are well removed. But it is not necessary to do this, moreover, the chickpea shell contains useful substances. Ready and cooled chickpeas can be used to prepare various tasty and healthy dishes. Enjoy your meal!
