Step cooking
- To prepare the cutlets, you need to prepare the necessary ingredients. Divide 250 g of cauliflower into inflorescences.
- Boil in 500 ml of water with the addition of 0.5 tsp. salt and 1 lemon wedge for 5 minutes. After this, drain the water and let the cabbage cool slightly.
- Peel and cut the medium onion into small cubes.
- In ¼ stack. pour oatmeal 100 ml of boiling water, cover and let stand for 10-15 minutes.
- Cut the cooled cabbage with a sharp knife into very small pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix chopped onions and cauliflower. Add to them oatmeal, 1 tbsp. l wheat flour, 0.5 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp spices.
- Stir the mixture until smooth.
- Pour 15-20 ml of vegetable oil into the pan and heat. From the resulting mincemeat, form the same patties, roll them in breadcrumbs.
- Fry the patties on both sides until golden brown. During frying, add vegetable oil to the pan as needed.
- Cauliflower cutlets are ready. Good appetite.
Cooking recommendations
- Oatmeal can be replaced with 1 egg.
- Grind cauliflower with a knife, as indicated in the recipe, a blender or meat grinder will turn it into a liquid, viscous mass, not suitable for the formation of cutlets.
- For piquancy, chopped garlic can be added to the minced meat.
- For spices, use a mixture of ground peppers or herbs of your choice.
- Put ready-made cutlets on paper towels in order to remove excess fat.
- Sour cream or tomato sauces are suitable for such cutlets.
- Serve cutlets to cereals, mashed potatoes or pasta, laying them on lettuce leaves and garnishing with greens and fresh vegetables.
